NDIS cleaning and gardening: what household supports can cover

Household tasks are some of the most useful, least glamorous NDIS supports. A clean bathroom and a path you can actually use matter more than a slogan.

Cleaning

General house cleaning, bathrooms, laundry, kitchen upkeep and help with shopping. It is support in your home, not a commercial bond clean.

Gardening

Lawn and garden maintenance at household scale, and help keeping outdoor areas accessible. It is not a landscaping quote for a full backyard redesign.

Funding

These supports often sit in Core — Assistance with Daily Life. Whether your plan can fund them depends on your goals and what is written in the plan. We will not tell you a job is “NDIS approved”. That phrase is not a real NDIA product stamp.
