When an NDIS provider is sold, the Commission wants to know
From 1 July 2026, providers must notify the NDIS Commission when they become aware the business will be sold. Families can ask who is actually responsible.

From 1 July 2026, amended NDIS rules require providers to tell the Commission as soon as they become aware the business will be sold. Where governance or the way the service operates changes in a significant way, a new audit can be required. The NDIA described the change on 30 June 2026 as a control on the sale of registered businesses that are little more than a registration certificate.
The Commission’s reform hub puts the same rule in its list of stronger conditions: a new registration condition where business ownership changes, and less time for providers to report certain events.
What a participant can ask
You can ask who owns the organisation, who manages complaints, and whether the workers you see are employed or engaged by that organisation. A trading name on a shirt is not the same thing as the company responsible for the support.
Quantum Care is Quantum Care Solutions Pty Ltd. Registration is in progress. We are not a registered provider being offered for sale, and this article is not a promise about future ownership. It is a description of the rule, so you know the question is a fair one to ask any provider.
Complaints still come to admin@quantumcare.com.au or through our complaints page. You can also complain to the NDIS Commission without asking us first.
